By now, our backers should have started receiving their Beasts of the Black Hand print rewards. Packages are being sent out in waves, so shipping times will vary depending on your location. International shipments will require a longer shipping time. We've made every effort to insure that your books will arrive undamaged. However, if any damage occurs in the shipping process, please contact us.
As a thank you to our wonderful backers, each copy of Beasts of the Black Hand will come with an exclusive bookplate hand-signed by creators Paul Harding, Ron Marz, Matthew Dow Smith, and Sean HusVar. Your support allowed us to make this project a reality, and we are more grateful than you can possibly know.
If you have not yet received or filled out the Backerkit survey, so we know where to send your reward, please do so as soon as possible. Until you provide your physical address, we cannot ship you your rewards.
The team is hard at work on Volume 2, so we can bring you the next chapter of the Beasts saga. As always, thank you supporting our endeavors!

If you have answered your Backerkit survey, by now you should have received your digital download of the complete Beasts of the Black Hand graphic novel via email. The emails contain instructions and a download code for the graphic novel file. We've already heard back from a number of you that you have indeed received your digital rewards. If there are any issues or questions concerning the digital download, please contact [email protected] with your concerns. We hope you enjoy our digital version!

The shipment of Beasts of the Black Hand print copies has been received at our office in Buffalo, and we have started the fulfillment process! We're thrilled with the printing and production, to say the least. The oversize, hardcover package is definitely worthy of our beastly tale!
To this point, about 80% of our backers have completed their Backerkit surveys. Please remember you must complete a survey and provide us with a physical address in order to receive your rewards. If you did not receive a survey, or have changed email addresses since you pledged to the campaign, please email us at [email protected] and request the survey be sent again.
Digital rewards will be sent out within the week, and hopefully sooner than that. Physical rewards are being collated and packed, and will ship in waves over the next two to three weeks. We are switching to shipping boxes, rather than padded envelopes, to lessen chances of damage to the books. If your shipment does incur any damage, please let us know via email, and we will address the situation.
Certain rewards, such as sculptures and original art, will take slightly longer to ship, as they will require additional packing and padding.

The Beasts of the Black Hand hardcovers are on the press right now in California! Printing and binding hardcovers is a more protracted process than printing single-issue comics or even trade paperbacks. Once all the books are printed, they'll be trucked across the country to our offices in Buffalo, NY, and we will begin the fulfillment process. Backers should start receiving their books in a matter of weeks.
Backers have started receiving surveys from Backerkit, which will aid us in getting your rewards to you. These surveys provide pertinent shipping and reward information for us, and also give you the opportunity to add on items to your order. Please make sure you fill out your survey as soon as you receive it. Otherwise, our fulfillment team has no way of knowing where to send your rewards.
We're having a Beasts of the Black Hand release party at the Albany Toy and Comic Show in Albany, NY on March 18. The creative team of creator Paul Harding, writer Ron Marz, artist Matthew Dow Smith, and publisher Sean HusVar will be on hand. We'll have a few cases of Beasts hardcovers, which are being air-shipped directly from the printer. Other guests at the show include comics legend Jim Starlin and Rick Leonardi (who is also working on a secret Ominous project). We'd love to see you there!

On behalf of the amazing team (Matt, Ron, Sean, Chris, Kim, Neeraj, Troy and Phil!) that worked and continue to work tirelessly to make Beasts of the Black Hand a reality, I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.
It’s been a year and a half in the making and we are beyond excited to jump head-first into book two!
