Hello, Beasts backers! Almost all of you should have received your rewards at this point, and we hope you're enjoying your graphic novel. For those of you who are expecting replacement dust jackets, we've received the first batches back from the individual cover artists, who have hand-signed their dust jackets. We'll be shipping replacement dust jackets as we they are available.

To any backers waiting on their Beasts of the Black Hand dust jacket rewards, we wanted to let you know that all dust jackets have been printed, but we are unhappy with the quality of them. Therefore, we are in the process reprinting all the dust jackets via a different printing process, so they're of the quality you should expect from Ominous Press.
We truly appreciate your patience thus far. Our intent is to send out your rewards immediately, with the current dust jackets, so you have your books. Then, once the new dust jackets are reprinted to our satisfaction, we will have them signed by the respective creators, and mailed to you under separate cover. If you would instead prefer a refund, please contact us at [email protected] and let us know.

We're very excited to announce that our dear friend and legendary writer/artist Jim Starlin (creator of Thanos, Drax, Gamora, the Infinity Gauntlet, Dreadstar, and many others), has signed on with Ominous Press to bring to life a pair of incredible projects!
The first is BLACK BOOK: THE ART OF JIM STARLIN, a new hardcover collection of more than 100 pages of Starlin artwork, most of it never published previously! BLACK BOOK: THE ART OF JIM STARLIN also includes an exclusive first look at a new DREADSTAR story written and drawn by Jim Starlin.
The second project is MINDGAMES: A HARDCORE STATION STORY, a lavishly illustrated prose novella set on Starlin's signature locale of Hardcore Station. Written and illustrated by Jim Starlin, MINDGAMES is a science-fiction mystery presented in an oversize hardcover format.

As you know from previous updates, our dedicated crew has been steadily shipping out your books and rewards on a daily basis. However, we've seen questions and concerns from some of you about delivery, and wanted to take a moment to send out this update.
Beasts of the Black Hand packages continue to ship each day. The feedback we've gotten from backers who have received their books has been so gratifying, concerning both the book and our secure packaging.

Thanks for your patience as this process continues. In general, the more distant that an address is from our Buffalo-area offices, the longer the shipping time (particularly international addresses). In general, packages with additional rewards like sculptures or prints, requiring additional packaging, will also take a little longer to arrive than single books.
