Mike McKone Original Art Reward Tier!

We're offering a literal one-of-a kind reward as fan favorite artist Mike McKone was gracious enough to contribute the original art to his gorgeous Beasts of the Black Hand cover. Featuring British secret agent Osawld Rayner, the hand-drawn original inked artwork measures 11 inches by 17 inches, and is signed by Mike McKone, known for his work on Avengers, Teen Titans, Amazing Spider-Man and many others.
The reward tier for the original cover art includes the Beasts of the Black Hand hardcover graphic novel with the McKone variant dust jacket, the digital version of the graphic novel, the art print set featuring images from Mike McKone, Matthew Dow Smith, Paul Harding, Eric Powell, Meghan Hetrick, Marc Laming, and Mark A Nelson. The reward level for this one-of-a-kind rarity is $700.
The McKone variant dust jacket is available at the $35 level, and the art print set, plus the graphic novel, is at the $99 level.

We knew we wanted a variant cover that would spotlight the nefarious Maria Rasputin and her pet wolf Hrodolf. We needed an artist who could capture Maria's allure as well as her treachery. Obviously, we made the right choice in Meghan Hetrick, who painted this stunning image.

From Maria's intricate dress, to the snowy setting, to incorporating the Beasts logo into the painting, Meghan's design sense is matched only by her mastery of the brush. Meghan joins Mark A. Nelson and Mike McKone in having their variant dust jacket covers revealed. Keep checking back, as we still have covers by Eric Powell and Marc Laming to unveil. Backers can pick any of the five variant dust jackets, as well as the previously-revealed covers by Matthew Dow Smith and Paul Harding. The five variant images are also offered as a print set.

Artist Mark A. Nelson made his *ahem* mark in comics with some of the original Aliens material by Dark Horse Comics. When we started discussing names to contribute covers for Beasts of the Black Hand, Paul Harding suggested Mark, and showed off some of the recent work he'd been doing. Needless to say, we were utterly impressed by the lush, detailed work Mark has been producing.

It seemed like a natural fit to have Mark tackle a more monstrous cover, and he came through with flying colors ... quite literally, since his illustration spotlights the resurrected Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the Red Baron.
